To celebrate our two year anniversary as a label, we decided to put out our first double record, a compilation of many of the bands we've connected with and new friends we're meeting along the way. This release is almost entirely based off of submissions that were sent into us from the community that surrounds us. This compilation is such a cosmic whirlwind of a journey, there's a little something for everybody, and it's by far my favorite thing we've ever done.

"Two years ago, Sundog Sound started from a simple idea between myself and my partner. The idea was essentially to create a record label that not only put out really cool music from up and coming artists that we enjoy but to provide artists access to things like getting your music vinyl, producing merch, and most importantly a community to depend on; taking back the love and power of music and art from the money hungry corporations and attempting to put it back in the hands of those who actually create the art. Too much good music is getting swept under the rug and lost in the digital void thanks to the conglomerate that is the modern music industry, whether it's due to the exclusivity of Spotify Playlisting or how expensive it may be to get music pressed to wax. All of the music we release, we truly believe in it. It's music that deserves to be released, preserved, and it deserves to be heard and all of our releases wouldn't have been possible without you. Whoever you are, whether you are on the compilation, a part of the label, a family member, a die hard, or a casual listener, this is for you, from us.
